Why we exist

We are the UK's first and only charity dedicated to championing
illustration. Our vision is for everyone to be able to examine, communicate and express themselves confidently through illustration.

Illustration is art that communicates stories and ideas. It fosters
communication, curiosity, imagination and empathy.

What we do

We create meaningful, scalable opportunities to examine and create illustration, with a strong focus on people and stories that have been marginalised. We are establishing a permanent national centre for illustration to sustain this work and grow its impact.

Our goals

• Everyone can communicate openly through illustration
