Urban sketching
20 June 2026
Join artist and educator Wilson Yau in celebrating the architecture of Amwell Street. Your session will start with an introduction in our Creative Studio, followed by a guided sketching session around the local area looking at historic buildings and streetscapes. All materials will be provided.
Amwell Street, located in the New River Conservation Area, is known for its Georgian architecture and the historic New River Head buildings which are now home to Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration. This event is part of the Amwell 200 celebrations.
Please note this is a walking event so attendees will need sensible footwear, water and sun protection. If the weather is inclement the session will take place in the Creative Studio.
