Small press

A small-scale publisher that develops, produces, markets and distributes media such as books and magazines. In the late 1800s and early 1900s, small presses in the UK were associated with experimental ideas and a focus on the craft of printing. Later, mimeograph and digital printing boosted small press publishing.
