Print

The process of creating an impression of an image, usually using a process that is repeatable so that multiple copies can be made. The impression made by any printing process is also known as a ‘print’. Prints can be made by manually transferring an image from one surface (such as a block of wood) to another (such as paper). They can also be made digitally, usually by connecting a computer to an inkjet printer.
