Poster

A sheet with images, text and/ or other visual design elements, usually printed in multiples and intended for display in a public place. Posters are often used to temporarily promote an idea, instruction, product or event. They became a widespread form of mass communication from the 1800s with the development of lithography. Today, most posters are printed by offset lithography.
