Monoprint

A form of printmaking in which an image can only be made once. It differs from most other printmaking techniques that can produce multiple copies of a print. A monoprint can be made by combining a range of printmaking and other techniques, such as collage and hand-colouring. Printing plates and blocks may be inked in an expressive way that cannot be precisely replicated.
